Misty Mountains Resort is a small bungalow and homestay resort nestled in the mountains near Ranong. Ranong is Thailand's wettest province, right on the Andaman Sea, with annual
rainfall about 4 metres. The entire area is mountainous lush tropical rainforest, with creeks, rivers and waterfalls everywhere. If you like clean mountain air and temperatures much
cooler than in Ranong town, then Misty Mountains is the place for you. We are also very fortunate to have hardly any mosquitoes here, and have a very quiet and peaceful setting. So
if you like peace and quiet, good food, good music, cold beer and good company, then once again Misty Mountains is the place for you.
Ranong has a Thai Immigration Office and thousands of foreigners come to Ranong each year to do a Visa run. To do a Visa run they must go over to Burma / Myanmar, to either
Victoria Point, or the Andaman Club Casino. A Visa run to the Andaman Club is the best way to go, and only 850 Baht, including the boat. There are also an equal number of tourists
who come to Ranong to stay on one of the islands, mainly either Koh Phayam or Koh Chang and some stay for the entire "dry" season. Further useful information about Ranong can

Misty Mountains Resort has air-conditioned rooms and bungalows with ensuite bathrooms, or the same thing without air-conditioning, ie.fan only. We have high speed internet
available, satellite TV, Bar & Restaurant with Thai & Western food, pool table, darts, car hire, motorbike hire, airport or bus station pick up. In addition have our own boat and can take
you fishing in the Andaman Sea if required. We can arrange sightseeing tours around the entire area, or arrange your trip out to one of the pristine islands in the Andaman Sea. We
also offer Visa renewal assistance.
At Misty Mountains Resort we also have a Bar-B-Que most nights, along with good country music & a big fire outside for your enjoyment.. So if you are having a Thai vacation or just
want to do a visa run, then come and stay with us and we will take care of you.
Thai massage is also available, including oil massage and foot massage, between 8 am and 9 pm, 7 days a week. A reservation deposit of US $10.00 is required, and prices start from
Thai Baht 300 an hour for a foot massage and 500 Baht an hour for an oil massage. Please click here for online payment of reservation deposit. The deposit is refundable upon
arrival, but will be non refundable in the case of cancellation or a "non arrival". However, booking time and date may be changed if required.

simplicity's sake a standard en-suite bungalow is US $10.00 per night, and a de-luxe A/C bungalow is US $13.00 per night.
Our prices start from 350 Baht per night for a fan only bungalow. A de-luxe air-conditioned bungalow is 450 Baht per night. All bungalows have verandas with views over the swimmimg
