Misty Mountains Resort Ranong Thailand

Our resort is just about finished now, and only need to install a pool filter, have to go to Phuket to buy that, but the water in the pool is clean anyway, fresh mountain water flowing thru the pool from the creek.

The wet season is well and truly here now, but we still have some sunny days. We caught the edge of the cyclone that hit Myanmar, and our creek turned into a raging river and actually started over flowing on to our land. A bit scary !!

Our swimming pool is clean, fresh mountain spring water that flows through the creek on our property, all year round. Water is now pouring down the creek after a huge storm we had 3 days ago, the onset of the monsoon season I believe.

We pump the mountain water directly into one end of the pool and out the other end, so what we have in effect is a freshwater creek running through the pool !

Our new resort is nearly finished, finally ! Had hold ups with the local Burmese labourers, who couldn't care less if we finish it or not. Anyway about 3 more weeks max we will be fully functional. Already have had happy guests staying with us, even during the constuction period

Just the best. Beautiful cool and clean mountain air. Why would anyone stay in Ranong town ? Very hot, noisy smelly and dirty !! Come and stay with us at Misty Mountains. You won't be sorry !
